Job Description
Job Title: Recruitment Consultant
Location: TAC Europe subsidiary office: TAC TPS Ltd
Reports to: Business Group Manager
Division: New business 360 team
Position Summary:
The role requires a candidate who is dedicated in the development of SME business utilising all the tools available to source skilled and unskilled contractors to a broad range of clients. Responsible for the end to end process of qualifying leads, sales, fulfilling client requirements, successfully matching candidates and the follow up and management of the client relationship thereafter.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* To keep customer focused through listening to customer needs
* To reach agreed KPI\'s of sales, service and performance
* To write business in accordance with the company pricing policy on profitability and margins
* To make client sales and service calls and to take the opportunity to develop business whilst consolidating relationships and monitoring the service provided
* Conduct activities to aid positive relationships and retention of clients and candidates
* Initiate contacts and meetings to solicit referrals, sales leads and promote the full range of recruitment services offered by the company
* To build a network of contacts in SME businesses within the industry sector
* To advertise vacancies through appropriate mediums utilising Microdec and Broadbean
* To obtain accurate job descriptions, person specifications and other information required to ensure accurate recruitment
* To develop and demonstrate a good knowledge and understanding of the companies business and core disciplines
* To provide support to team members and other parts of the company as required/directed
* To maintain and update all records accurately on Microdec to ensure compliance
* To ensure all prospective candidates have the relevant paperwork to allow them to work legally
* Conduct telephone/face-to-face interviews with candidates
* To build and maintain the contract candidate database and assess the suitability of candidates for registration
* To follow up on interviews arranged and manage the post interview process
* To brief candidates prior to interview and gain post interview feedback
* To manage the expectations of the client and candidate maintaining regular contact
* Seek out suitable pools of candidates to fulfil client requirements
* Monitor candidate performance to assess the viability of future placement with clients
* To adhere to company policies, systems, procedures and codes of practice to which the company subscribes
Candidate Requirements:
Essential -
* Experience within a similar role/recruitment sector of either of the following disciplines; Engineering, Aerospace, Defence, Transport and Rail (white collar contract essential - perm experience desirable)
* Experience of sales/business development
* Customer service skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Working knowledge of the Microsoft office suite of applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Willingness and focus to achieve targets and objectives
Individual Qualities -
* Ambitious and confident
* Able to work to deadlines and targets
* Able to handle multiple priorities
Desirable -
* Recruitment and Employment Confederation or other industry relevant professional qualification
* Degree qualified
