Job Description
A major investment bank in Canary Wharf is currently recruiting for a Business Analyst/Project Manager. The Securities Processing and Wealth workstream is tasked with implementing a strategic platform for equities and unit trust processing, delivering processing changes to support delivery of regional initiatives and UK readiness activity, delivering a global operating model for securities processing and Improving and streamlining existing processes to improve operational efficiency.
In order to deliver on these tasks work has been undertaken to design the operating model and technologies have been selected. The new hire will be responsible for providing the Business Analysis on the system and associated platform.
Deliverables include:
* Responsible for the business analysis aspect of a project from initiation through to delivery.
* Document existing processes and assist in identifying areas of improvement
* Examine techniques, systems and processes in use and determine appropriate changes to effect improvements, reduce costs and enhance efficiency to meet business needs.
* Clear communication of requirements by the creation of Business Requirement Definition (BRD) documents.
The succefull candidate will have extensive experience in the Finance and Banking industry environment with practical experience of working on either the \'Buy\' or \'Sell\' side of the Securities industry. Together with business project management experience and having knowledge of IT infrastructure and software development is useful but not essential.
